I can't speak for every cable company, but in most cases your cable company will not make you sign a contract for service. This way you can switch and or upgrade services with no headaches, not to mention the price is right.
If you're a frugal person you can even go one better, and get all of these services for a fraction of the cost of both aforementioned services. If you must have everything on one bill, by all means do so. If you are looking to save money without sacrifice to quality, try bundling your own services.
Depending on what is available in your area, you could be getting unlimited local plus long distance phone service, digital television service and broadband Internet for around 60 dollars a month. Just a few minutes of research could literally save you hundreds of dollars a year while still getting top notch products.
Specifically speaking, Dish Network now offers satellite TV service for the regular everyday price of $19.99 a month. Packet8 VoIP phone service is cheaper than Vonage at only $19.99 a month for unlimited local and long distance calling including Canada. It's even possible to get broadband Internet as low as $19.99 a month depending on your service location.
The prices on high speed broadband Internet may vary by about 20 to 25 dollars. You can also get VoIP for as little as 10 dollars a month if you don't need unlimited long distance. Even if you pay 45 dollars a month for broadband, you're still getting all three services for around 85 dollars a month.
If you're looking for a good price on phone, television and Internet service, just roll up your sleeves, get out your calculator and take about 15 minutes to look around and see what's out there. Chances are you'll be surprised by how much money you can save this way plus get exactly what you want.
